The Paint program is a simple start to understanding computer graphics.

Paint is a simplistic graphics program you can use to create drawings and paintings with a few clicks of your mouse. The program also can be used to make basic changes to photos, such as enhancing color or removing "red-eye." Most Windows computers and laptops operated come with Paint installed as standard, so before you try to download Paint, ensure that you do not already have it on your system.

Instructions

    • 1

Click on the "Start" icon in the bottom left of your screen. Check "All Programs," then "Accessories" and look for "Paint."

    • 2

Check your system list for the program. Click "Start," then "Control Panel." Click on "Add/Remove Program" or "Add/Remove Windows Component" and search for Paint. Re-install it by clicking "Add Program."
