1. Visit the Recorder of Deeds office for your county during normal business hours. This is the central area where all property deeds for the county are stored.

2. Request a copy of your property deed from the Recorder's staff. This can take anywhere from minutes to days depending on the efficiency or operations of the particular office.

3. Pay the required fee for a property deed copy to complete the transaction.
