How to Make an Easy Banner Using Picnik

Create a simple banner with Picnik.

Picnik is a website that contains an online that lets you edit your digital images to make them part of a banner design. This site is ideal if you desire a quick process for creating a banner. Picnik lets you make banners without creating an account and even provides a picture library if you do not have your own photos.

Instructions

1. Go to the Picnik website and click "Get started now!"

2. Click "Upload a photo" and use the dialog window to select a digital image from your computer. You also have the option to click "Or, open a demo photo" to choose an image from the Picnik photo library.

3. Click the "Edit" tab and you will find options such as "Crop" or "Resize," to modify your picture as desired.

4. Click the "Create" tab and use the buttons that appear at the top of the page to finish designing your banner. For example, click "Text" to add content to your image and click "Frames" to add a decorative border around your picture.

5. Click the "Save & Share" tab when you're finished with your work. Type a banner name in the "File name" text field and then click "Format," to select the preferred file type for your banner (for example, "JPG"). Last, click "Save Photo" to download the finished banner to your computer.

Tips & Warnings

• You have the option to select digital photos for the banner using your Internet accounts including Flickr and Facebook. Click the "Library" tab, then click "Connect" and then follow the prompts to log in and select an image from one of your other accounts.
