How to Use The Features on a Proform XP Weight Loss 620 Treadmill
The Pro-Form XP Weight Loss 620 is treadmill manufactured by Icon Health and Fitness. The treadmill is an entry-level machine and has a 1.75-horsepower motor that drives the tread belt at up to 10 mph.The 20-inch by 55-inch tread belt will also adjust to a 10 percent incline. The XP Weight Loss 620 has a custom Weight Loss Center that automatically programs a workout based on how long you want to work out and many calories you want to burn.

Manual Mode

Stand on the treadmill foot rails and connect the clip tethered to the treadmill key to the waistband of your clothing. The clip is a safety device, designed to stop the treadmill if you lose your balance or fall during the workout. Insert the key in the slot on the console.

Press the "Start" button to start the walking belt. The belt moves at 1 mph. Press the "Speed Increase" and "Speed Decrease" buttons to adjust the speed. Each button press changes the speed by 0.1 mph. Press one of the 10 "Precision Quick Speed" buttons to change to a specific speed. The speed of the belt will gradually increase or decrease until it matches the speed selected.

Press the "Incline Increase" and "Incline Decrease" buttons to change the incline. Each button press changes the incline by 0.5 percent.

Press the "Display" button to select a display mode. The display can show the speed of the walking belt, the incline level, the approximate calories burned, the elapsed time and the distance you've walked or run.

Step on the foot rails, press the "Stop" button and lower the incline to 0 percent. Remove the key from the console, switch the circuit breaker to the off position and unplug the treadmill.
Classic Workout

Press the "Classic Workouts" button to cycle through the available pre-programmed workouts. The duration, speed and incline setting of the workouts will display as you cycle through them.

Press the "Start" button to begin the classic workout. Workouts are divided into one-minute segments, with a programmed speed and incline setting for each segment.

Press the "Speed" or "Incline" buttons to override the pre-programmed setting for a workout segment. The speed and incline settings return to the pre-programmed settings when the next segment begins.

Press the "Stop" button to end the workout. Press the "Start" button to restart the workout.
Weight Loss Center

Press the "Weight Loss Center" button. Press the "Up" and "Down" arrow buttons next to the "Weight Loss Center" button to input your weight, number of calories you want to burn and length of the weight loss workout. Your weight will be saved in the treadmill's memory.

Press the "Start" menu to begin the weight loss workout. Like the classic workouts, weight loss workouts are divided into one-minute segments. Press the "Speed" or "Incline" buttons to adjust the speed or incline settings for a segment.

Press the "Stop" button to stop the workout and the "Start" button to restart it. The walking belt will begin at 1 mph when you restart a workout and automatically adjust to the speed and incline settings of the next segment when it begins.
