Copy the data on your floppy disk to a CD using your computer.

It is important to copy information from your floppy disks to CDs if you wish to keep it because floppy-disk drives are no longer installed in new computers. Just as DVDs have replaced VHS tapes, CDs have replaced floppy disks. Fortunately, copying information from a floppy disk to a CD is a simple process, as long as you have both a floppy drive and a CD burner installed on your computer.
