How to Edit Your Photos With Style
If you like taking photos, you probably have wondered how to edit them with style. There are numerous image-editing programs you can purchase for this purpose, but you also can edit your photos with an application you already have: Microsoft Paint. It comes preinstalled with all Windows operating systems, including Windows XP, Vista and 7.

Click "Start" and "All Programs," then navigate to "Accessories" and "Paint."

Click "File," then "Open." Alternatively, press "Ctrl" plus "O." Select the photo from your hard drive.

Click and drag the dotted border of the photo, once it loads. By dragging the border, you will resize the image to your liking.

Click "Image." Click "Resize and Skew." This option allows you to make your image smaller or larger by typing the percentage of the image by which you want it changed. A value of more than 100 percent increases the image, while a smaller value will make the image smaller. To skew the image horizontally or vertically, set the value of the respective fields. Click "OK."

Press "Ctrl" and "Z" if you want to undo the last modification you did to the image. To redo the modification, press "Ctrl" and "Y."

Press the dotted rectangular in the top right corner of the panel. This is the select button. Click and drag it on the image. Press "Ctrl" and "X" to cut the highlighted part. Press "Ctrl" and "V" to paste the area you have cut.

Press the "Pick Color" button, located on the the left side of the panel. Position the pointer on the color of the photograph you wish to pick. Click. Then select the "Brush" button. Now you can make adjustments to your photo by using the same color as appears on your photograph.

Click "Image," then "Attributes." Select "Black and White" in the "Colors" field. Click "OK." Now your photo will become a black-and-white image. Mind, however, that you cannot undo this transformation.
