How to Change iPad Wallpaper

Apple iPad delivers a default wallpaper background image when you first purchase the device. As you customize it to your preferences, you may want to change the default wallpaper to a different background or photo.

Instructions

1. Turn on your iPad by pressing the "Home" button or the "Reset" button on the top right-hand corner of the screen.

2. Slide the arrow to the right on the bottom middle of the screen to access your iPad Apps.

3. Tap "Settings," "Brightness & Wallpaper." You have the option to change two pictures: iPad lock screen and iPad home screen.

4. Tap either of the images, and the following two choices appear: Wallpaper and Saved Photos. You have the option to set your screen to a different wallpaper image or a saved photo.

5. Tap the applicable folder and select a picture in the list.

6. Tap "Set Lock Screen" to set the lock screen only. Tap "Set Home Screen" to set the home screen only. Tap "Set Both" to set both the home and lock screen.
