If at any type during these activities you drop your highlighter or rest your sleeve in ink that is still wet, you might find that there is now a highlighter stain on your clothes.   • Isopropyl alcohol
  • Water
  • Concentrated laundry detergent
  • All-fabric bleach

Instructions

    • 1

      Pour several drops of isopropyl alcohol directly onto the highlighter stain. Rub it in.

      Rinse with hot water to remove the alcohol and the stain.

    • 3

      If you can still see the highlighter stain, rub concentrated laundry detergent into the stain. Let it sit for several minutes.

      Rinse again with hot water, and check the stain.

    • 5

      If you still see the stain on your clothes, add diluted all-fabric bleach directly to the remaining highlighter stain.

      Let the bleach soak in for several minutes, and then launder as usual.
