How to Get Satellite Pictures of Any Determined Location
It is possible to view a detailed satellite image of your area using map applications available online. Satellite images give you a high-quality view of the landscape features of your area. Google, Microsoft's Bing and Nokia's Ovi offer free map viewing services for users. They work similarly and require no technical knowledge.

Using Google Maps

Access the Google Maps website (see Resources).

Type the name of the location in the "Search Maps" text box.

Click "Search Maps." Select "Satellite" as the default map view. This will display a detailed satellite image of your location. Zoom into the location by scrolling up with your mouse.
Using Microsoft Bing Maps

Access the Bing Maps website (see Resources).

Type of the name of your location in the search box and click "Search."

Select "Bird's Eye" as the default map view. This will show you a detailed satellite picture of your area.
Using Ovi Maps

Access the Ovi Maps website (see Resources).

Type the name of your area and click "Go."

Select "Satellite" as the default map view. This provides a detailed satellite image of your region.

Tips & Warnings
Search for the satellite maps in your area by including the address, city, county, state or province name in the search bar. You also can use map coordinates (such as 25.8 N 80.32 W for Miami, Florida) to find maps of your location.
Finding your location by coordinates only work for Bing and Google Maps.
