How to Make Door Hanger Flyers With a Die Cut Machine
Door hangers are effective in marketing your business or event. Door hangers put a message in the hands of potential customers literally. Making door hangers can save time and money especially when only a few are needed. Using a die cutting machine to cut several door hangers and applying your own message or advertisement to them can be an inexpensive alternative to buying in bulk.

1
Place the paper on the floor of the die cutting machine with the door hanger die strategically placed on the paper. You will want to get as many door hangers as possible to each piece of paper. To do this start the first cut on the edge and corner of the paper. You can then do the next cut as close as possible to utilize as much of the paper as possible. The weight of the paper is optional depending on how sturdy the door hanger needs to be. Some die cut machines can handle cutting several sheets at the same time.

2
Pull down on the lever of the die cutting machine completely. There needs to be even pressure on the entire surface of the die from the machine to cut properly. Centering the die and paper will help achieve this. Gently bring the lever back to the starting position.
