Instructions

Balloon Dog
-
1
Blow up the balloon all the way, then pinch the open nozzle and let out some of the air so that you have 3 inches of uninflated balloon hanging off of the tip.
-
2
Measure 3 inches from the nozzle and twist the balloon three times, then measure another 3 inches twist again, and repeat 3 inches down again, making a third twisted piece of balloon.
-
-
3
Fold the balloon inwards and connect the first twist you made with the third twist you made and twist these two pieces together securely. This will form the ears and nose of the dog.
-
4
Measure 2 inches from the ears and nose and twist the balloon, then measure another 3 inches twist the balloon, and do one more time as you did in the first step. Connect the first twist in this series with the last twist and twist together securely with the balloon pointing the folded piece in the opposite direction of the ears and nose. These will be the dog's front legs.
-
5
Repeat Step 4 3 inches down from your front legs to make the back legs of the dog. The small un-inflated piece of balloon will be hanging off the remaining length of untwisted balloon to look like a tail.
Balloon Ducky
-
6
Blow up your balloon all the way, then pinch the open nozzle and let out some of the air so that you have 3 inches of un-inflated balloon hanging off of the tip which will be the beak of your duck.
-
7
Loop around and bend your balloon into a circle, then pull the nozzle end further inward into the circle so that the nozzle end is about 7 inches inside the circle from your uninflated tip.
-
8
Gather the overlapped pieces of balloon at the area where your nozzle lies between either side of your circle and twist them together five times securely. Your balloon will form two oval loops with the remaining length and uninflated tip coming out in the middle where the ovals are twisted together.
-
9
Fold one of your loops across so that it touches the loop opposite it, then pull it up through that loop so it is held securely on that side, forming the body of the duck.
-
10
Measure 3 inches from the un-inflated tip end of your duck and twist the balloon three times to form your duck's head.
