How to Make Pony Shoes
Ponies are in the same family as donkeys, horses and zebras. A pony is different than a horse. They are no larger than 57 inches tall and have shorter legs than horses. Breeds of wild ponies, like Dartmoors, live in herds in England, while domesticated ponies live in stables like horses. Before cars, ponies pulled carts and were ridden. Children of all ages are fascinated by ponies, who are the subjects of stories and toys. Making shoes with ponies on them is a good craft project to stir the imagination of your pony-loving child.
