1
Bake cupcakes as you would normally following your favorite recipe or the directions on a box of cake mix. Allow the cupcakes to cool to room temperature when they finish baking.
-
2
Place the cupcakes inside a large resealable freezer bag. You might need to use several freezer bags to avoid smashing the cupcakes or crowding them together.
-
-
3
Freeze your cupcakes for at least one hour. The cupcakes do not need to be frozen solid, but the exterior must be very cold to the touch.
-
4
Pour a few inches of Magic Shell into a large coffee cup with a diameter larger than that of your cupcakes.
-
5
Remove a cupcake from the freezer and hold the cupcake upside down over the coffee cup. Immediately dip the cupcake into the Magic Shell so that it covers the top of the cupcake.
-
6
Remove the Magic Shell covered cupcake from the cup and place it right-side up on a piece of wax paper. The Magic Shell should harden within one minute due to the cold temperature of the cupcake.
-
7
Continue to dunk your cupcakes into the Magic Shell until you have covered all of them.

If the Magic Shell does not harden on your cupcakes, put them back in the freezer for a few minutes.
