A mural is an artistic design that covers most or all of one wall. Visit an online mural printing website and select one of the available images. Or find an image (a photograph, a map or artwork) that you like and print it out onto 8 1/2-inch by 11-inch paper. Compare the proportion and measurements of the wall to those of the image. Remember to look at the placement of light switches, outlets, windows and furniture to determine if this image will be a good fit.

Email your image to the mural printing company. It will let you know if the image can be reproduced into a high quality mural or if it will need to be cropped. If the company needs to adjust the size of the image, look again at the elements of the room to see if the newly sized image will work.
