How to Stop PopupX From Blocking Me From Sites

PopUpX is an application that blocks pop-up ads from websites. Pop-up ads are browser advertisements. Businesses use them to catch your attention, however, they can be quite annoying. If you don't want PopUpX from blocking these ads, you can turn the pop-up ads back on. No matter what pop-up blocker you use, you can control its settings through the Internet Properties sub-menu.

Instructions

1. Click "Start" and "Control Panel." Click "Network and Internet."

2. Press "Internet Options." A window will appear on your computer's screen.

3. Click the "Privacy" tab. Remove the check mark next to "Turn on Pop-Up Blocker." This allows PopUpX to allow all pop-up ads.

4. Click "Close." Press "Apply" and "OK" to close out of the boxes.

Tips & Warnings

• Instead of removing the check mark next to "Turn on Pop-Up Blocker," you can select which websites that you want to allow pop-up ads from. Click the "Settings" tab and enter the websites' URLs.
