How to Customize LAX Gloves

Though lacrosse is a very physical contact sport, players generally wear very little protective equipment. If you ask lacrosse players what their most important piece of protective equipment is besides the helmet, many would say gloves. Lacrosse gloves can do more than provide protection from swinging sticks, lacrosse balls and opposing players -- they can be a fashion statement. Many of the top manufacturers of lacrosse gloves, including Warrior, Gait and Brine, offer customers the ability to customize their gloves online by choosing a color scheme and adding words, names or numbers.

Instructions

    • 1

Choose your preferred lacrosse glove manufacturer and visit the company website. Some companies produce items for multiple sports, so find Lacrosse on the heading and click it. From the drop-down menu, click on the online customization option. On the Warrior website, for example, this option is labeled "Check Out the Warrior Online Customizer."

    • 2

Select gloves as the gear you would like to customize. This brings up a page of available models. Once you have found a model you like, select the type of glove you want (fielder or goalie), the size and the quantity of gloves you would like to purchase. You also can upload a logo that will be printed on the glove in place of the company logo.

    • 3

Select the color and fabrics you would like to use for each of the three zones on the glove. Usually, Zone 1 is the primary color of the glove and and also has the most fabric options from which to choose. Zone 2 is the secondary color and generally has the fewest fabric options. Zone 3 helps accent the company logo and the custom logo if you opted to provide an image.

    • 4

Select any additional embroidery you would like to include on the glove. You can embroider player numbers or names onto the gloves, which can help identify gloves as well as give them a more personal feeling. Click "Next" or "Continue" to proceed to checkout.

    • 5

Fill in the information the website asks for to complete the transaction. Select which type of shipping you would prefer, review your order for accuracy and click "Send." Check to make sure the next page is the confirmation page and that you also received the same page in your email.
