How to Use Wacom Graphire4 Stylus Pen for My Tablet PC

Use a Wacom pen instead of a mouse.

Tablet PCs use either a stylus pen or the user's fingertips as a mouse. If a tablet PC is designed for use with your fingertips, it will not function with a Wacom Graphire 4 pen. However, most tablet PCs are designed for use with a stylus. A tablet PC can act as a traditional tablet when used with a Wacom pen, which can be used as a mouse or drawing device.

Instructions

1. Open your computer's browser. Navigate to the Wacom website and download the Enhanced Graphics Driver (see "Resource"). Double-click on the downloaded file to open the installation prompt. Follow the prompt's instructions to install the program.

2. Grasp the Wacom Graphire 4 stylus pen. Hold the tip of the pen to the screen of your PC.

3. Move the stylus using your hand. Use the stylus like a mouse. Click "Start" to open a menu. Double-tap the icon of a program to start a program. Press the button of the pen to right-click.

4. Draw with the pen. Open a graphics program such as Paintshop Pro, Adobe Photoshop or MS Paint. Press the tip of the pen to the screen. Move your wrist and hand to create shapes. Click "Toolbar" to switch from pen mode to paint mode. Click on the color wheel to change colors.
