How to Register for a Virgin Mobile Account
Virgin Mobile is a prepaid Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) cellular service provider in the United States that is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sprint Nextel. Before you can initially use your Virgin Mobile service, you need to activate your phone and register for a Virgin Mobile account. Once you have successfully completed the account registration process, you can log on to your Virgin Mobile account to check your balance, view recent account activity and purchase additional airtime for your Virgin Mobile phone.

Open a web browser on your computer and go to the Virgin Mobile activation website (see Resources).

Select the applicable reason for your activation and click the "Next" button.

Enter your zip code and press the "Next" button.

Enter your Virgin Mobile cellular phone's activation number. You can find the activation number on the barcode sticker located under the phone's battery. Click the "Next" button.

Select the prepaid calling plan or bundle of minutes option you want to purchase for your Virgin Mobile service. Click the "Next" button.

Enter your name, billing address and credit card payment information. Click the "Next" button.

Select your new Virgin Mobile cellular phone number from the list of available phone numbers in your area. Click the "Next" button.

Select the user name and password you want to use to log on to your Virgin Mobile account. Click the "Next" button.

Confirm your information and click the "Next" button to complete the activation and registration process for your new Virgin Mobile account.
