Finding an oldies song title is as simple as knowing a few lines of the chorus.

Finding an old song can be more challenging than it might seem. Some oldies never hit a popularity level that would make them mainstream in the present, and may have originally been recorded by singers who are little known today. Finding their songs can be a challenge, but there are a few key ways to do so without too much time and effort.

Instructions

1. Search for lyrics of the song using a few keywords or sentences that are part of the song chorus. Use a popular search engine, such as Google or Yahoo, and be sure to include the word "lyrics" in your search.

2. Use an Internet listing of popular oldies songs. Websites such as oldieslist.com and allbutforgottensongs.com keep track of oldies. You can use their search engines and keywords from the lyrics, title or singer to narrow down your search.

3. If you are an iTunes user, search for the song title or lyrics at the iTunes store. If your search yields no results, browse through their oldies genre, which lists the "100 top songs" and "100 top albums" for your convenience.
