Guidelines for Monogramming Towels
Monogramming is the practice of embroidering the owner's initials onto fabric goods. Monogrammed towels, linens and clothing used to be standard fare in the world of fabric goods, but in today's consumer market, monograms are considered a luxurious type of personalization. As with many practices, there are differing opinions on how to arrange the initials in a monogram, based on whose initials are being utilized. Traditionally, monograms are arranged in a first, last and middle initial arrangement, with all of the letters being capitalized and the center initial, that for the last name, embroidered larger than the other two.
