Instructions

    • 1

Experiment with different scent combinations to find one you like. For best results combine scents in the same family, such as two perfumes with vanilla notes, a floral and a fruity perfume, two powdery or clean scents, or a spicy and a woody perfume.

    • 2

Apply the scent you want to have the most impact by using a body wash version of it in the shower.

    • 3

Choose a scented moisturizer and apply it liberally after toweling off just enough to remove most of the water from your skin. The moisturizer can be the same fragrance as your body wash or the eau de toilette you are going to apply. For an even more complex experience, make it a third fragrance.

    • 4

Spray on your eau de toilette to complete the layering. Since you already have at least one scent applied, lightly spray this fragrance in the air in front of you and walk through it to prevent perfume overload.

Tips & Warnings

  • Some great note combinations are incense and rose, vanilla and saffron, and citrus and leather.
