DIY: Studded Tires
When winter changeover season arrives, it is time to go to the tire store and purchase your studded tires. Today you can often find the best prices for studded tires on the Internet. Sometimes, however, you might find a better deal on a studdable tire than on tires that already have the studs installed. Studdable tires are tires that have holes in them, allowing you to install your own studs after purchase. Studded tires are used for driving on icy or snow-covered roads. You can save money by installing your own studs if you have access to a few important tools from any auto parts store.
