Pelvic Toner Instructions
Weak pelvic floor muscles can lead to urine leakage, stress incontinence and decreased sexual satisfaction in women, according to pelvic toner manufacturers. In the 1940s, Dr. Arnold Kegel designed a program that addressed weak pelvic floor muscles in adults. "Seek Wellness" reports that following the Kegel program can strengthen your pelvic floor muscles. However, it is difficult to properly perform kegel exercises without resistance or an assistive device, according to Pelvic-floor-toner.info. As of 2011, electric pelvic toners have become popular among women because of their convenience and effectiveness. These devices produce mild electrical currents that automatically contract the surrounding pelvic muscles.
