How to Tie a Bandana on a Person's Head

Bandanas can be worn by people of any age.

The bandana was originally used as a dust mask for cowboys riding the dusty ranges on horses. Today, bandanas are more often used as headwear. Bandanas have many of the same benefits as hats, but they're generally lighter in weight and allow the scalp to breath more easily.

Instructions

1. Spread out the bandana on a flat surface. One of the corners should point toward your body.

2. Fold the top corner of the bandana down so the tip sits in the exact center of the bandana.

3. Put the folded edge of the bandana against the front of the person's head, just above his eyebrows. The folded corner should be on the underside of the bandana so it isn't visible. There should now be two corners on the side of the head and one corner at the top of the head.

4. Grab the two side corners and wrap them around the back of his head. Pull the bandana tight and tie the two corners in a single knot. The bandana should by snug, but not uncomfortably so.

5. Pull the top corner back and place it on top of the knot. Tie one more knot with the side corners. The second knot will hold the top corner in place.
