How to Get Rid of Lint in a Dryer

Lint is the small particles of fabric that fall from clothing. A clothes dryer often collects loose lint from clothing in a lint trap. The lint in the trap must be removed between each load to ensure the dryer doesn't become clogged with lint. A trap that isn't cleaned may cause future loads to take make much longer to dry.       Remove the detachable lint trap from the dryer. The lint trap is often located inside the door on a front loading dryer and toward the back of a top loading dryer.
