How to Re-Format the Flip Video Ultra

Flip Video Ultra is a portable video camera that can record high-definition video, manufactured by Cisco. It has an internal hard drive so that you do not have to buy a storage device. If you need to format the Flip Video Ultra, you can do so in a computer. Computer's recognize Flip cameras as hard drives, which makes them easy to format.

Instructions

1. Insert the Flip Video Ultra's USB cable, which is located on the side of the video camera, into the computer's USB slot.

2. Open the computer's "Start" menu. Click on "Control Panel" in the right panel of the "Start" menu.

3. Click on "System and Security" in the "Control Panel." Click "Administrative Tools." Double click "Computer Management."

4. Click "Disk Management." It is located in the left side of "Computer Management."

5. Find the Flip Video Ultra. Right-click the Flip Video Ultra and click "Format." Click the "OK" button on the next two screens to format the Flip Video Ultra.
