How to Get Picture in Picture on Time Warner Remote

Time Warner cable boxes, such as the ones distributed by Scientific Atlanta, allow users to view the Time Warner cable signal on their televisions. These cable boxes also allow you to view a second television program along with your original program. This process is known as "Picture in Picture (PiP)" and can easily be initiated your remote.

Instructions

1. Press the "On/Off" button in the "PiP" section of your remote. This section of buttons is located at the bottom of the remote.

2. Press the "+" and "-" buttons in the remote's PiP section to change the channel of your smaller, second program picture.

3. Press the "Swap" button in your remote's PiP section to swap your first and second programs.

4. Press the "On/Off" button a second time to exit the "Picture in Picture" mode.
