If you're going to dress up like a Jedi from the "Star Wars" movies, it's helpful to wear all of the accessories to make your costume look authentic. Many times, it can be difficult to find certain Jedi accessories, such as an authentic Jedi belt. However, you can make your own authentic-looking Jedi belt using a few simple materials that can be bought at an arts and crafts supply store.

Things You'll Need

  • Braided craft rope, gold or tan
  • Measuring tape
  • Scissors
  • Hot glue gun
  • Hot glue stick
  • 2 wooden beads, 1-inch

Instructions

      Use a measuring tape and scissors to cut a length of gold or tan braided craft rope to 48 inches long.

      Insert a hot glue stick into the rear of a hot glue gun. Plug the gun into a wall outlet to allow the glue to heat up for about five minutes.

      Squeeze a nickel-sized dollop of hot glue onto each end of the rope.

      Press a 1-inch wide wooden bead onto each glued end.

    • 5

      Hold the beads in place until the glue cools and hardens before wearing the Jedi belt with your costume.
