How to Track a Package Shipped UPS Ground
Whether you shipped a package via UPS or you're awaiting a UPS package, you can track the details online. The tracking information includes the estimated time of arrival, the current location of the package and whether the package is en route. Tracking packages can help you ensure that your shipment has been picked up and dropped off. You can track UPS ground packages with the tracking number you were provided. The number contains 9 to 18 digits and letters.

Locate your UPS tracking number. Most tracking numbers are sent via a confirmation email or printed on your UPS receipt.

Visit the UPS tracking website.

Click "Track by number." Enter your tracking number in the provided text box. If you want to track more than one package, press "Enter" on your keyboard after you enter the first number and then enter the second number. You can track up to a total of 25 packages.

Click "Track." The tracking information for your selected package will appear.

Tips & Warnings
You can also track UPS ground packages via email. Email "totaltrack@ups.com" and enter up to 25 tracking numbers in the body of your email, all separated by a new line. You do not need to enter a subject in the email.
You can also track packages by using a reference. Tracking via a reference is only applicable if you completed the "Reference" information when you shipped your packages. Click on "Track by reference" on the UPS tracking website and fill out the required information to track your packages.
