How to Apply Sugar Sprinkles to Plastic Molds

  • Cold butter or stick margarine
  • Sugar sprinkles or nonpareils
  • Plastic dessert molds

Instructions

      Thoroughly butter the entire plastic dessert mold, making sure to get into the corners and all the way up the sides.

      Place buttered dessert molds in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.

      Remove from refrigerator and butter again.

      Pour in a teaspoon of sugar sprinkles. Move the mold around to evenly distribute the sugar throughout the mold. Add more sugar if needed, and pour extra into the next mold.

      Return to refrigerator until ready to be filled.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use a spoon to press larger nonpareils into the butter and get them to stick.
