And because cruises offer so many services and kinds of entertainment, they must employ many people with a wide range of skill sets.       Log on the to the Internet from a computer and go to the Carnival website at www.carnival.com.

      Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the webpage.

      Click on the "Careers" link in the horizontal list at the bottom of the page. The link is fourth is the list and appears between "Privacy Policy" and "Press/Media."

      Read through the list of links outlining the types of employment Carnival offers. On the left side of the webpage is information for land-based jobs. One the right is information on cruise ship jobs and the different types of employment they offer.

      Click on the link that best represents the type of job you are looking for.

      Read through the job descriptions listed to see if the job interests you and you have the necessary qualifications.

      Send your resume and a cover letter to the specified address. Depending on the type of job you will apply for, you may e-mail your materials. In some cases, though, materials need to be sent via the post office.

  • Carnival warns job seekers on its website that fraudulent ads have been published in several newspapers that list an e-mail address where people can send their resume to seek employment. These ads constitute a scam, and people who send resumes may be contacted by phone and told they have been hired but they must send money for a uniform deposit. Carnival does not seek job applicants through newspaper ads and is not affiliated with the scam. Instead, the company advises job seekers to visit their website to view and apply for available jobs.
