Instructions

    • 1

Absorb fresh urine with several paper towels folded in half. Discard the soiled paper towels.

    • 2

Pour undiluted white vinegar into a spray bottle. Mist the tiles and grout with the vinegar. Rub with a damp cloth. Vinegar is an all-natural cleaner and deodorizer that neutralizes the cat urine and removes the odor.

    • 3

Wipe the vinegar from the floor with a dry cloth. Mist the tiles and grout with the vinegar again. Let the vinegar air-dry on the floor.

    • 4

Fill a bucket with 1 gallon cool water and 1 cup oxygen bleach. Dip an old toothbrush into the mixture and scrub the grout vigorously. The oxygen bleach will help brighten the grout and remove any urine stains.

    • 5

Saturate a sponge in the mixture and wring out the excess liquid. Wipe the tiles and grout with the sponge. Dampen a clean cloth with cool water and rinse the mixture from the tiles. Wipe the tiles and grout clean with a towel.
