1
Part your hair across the middle of your head. Starting from one ear, use the comb to part all the way across the scalp to the other ear.
-
2
Lower your head, and gently comb your hair forward until all the tangles are gone. Gather the hair in the middle of your palm and separate a section, thick enough to wrap the hair just as if you were making a ponytail.

3
Wrap the separated section of hair around your hair until it's all wrapped, then secure the ends with 2 to 3 hair pins. The hair pins should cross each other to keep them in place.
-
4
Part small sections of the loose hair in the back, and curl with your curling iron. Spray a light mist of hair spray gel onto each section before curling it. Continue to curl each section until the entire back of your hair is curled.
-
5
Lightly spray all the curls with hair spray to keep them in place. Allow the hair to dry for about 1 to 2 minutes. Run your fingers lightly through your hair to divide some of the curls. Lightly spray your hair again to complete your half up hairstyle.
