How to Wash Vinyl Window Blinds
Vinyl window blinds can be an attractive way to cover your windows and control the light that flows into the room. Vinyl blinds tend to attract dust and dirt. As a result, they can appear to be dingy and old if you do not clean them on a regular basis. The best time of the year to clean your vinyl window blinds is during the summer, when you can wash them outside. Does this Spark an idea?

Close the blinds and take them off the window and take them outside.

Stretch the blinds out, but make sure the slats are in the closed position. Spray them with the garden hose. Turn them over and spray them again with the garden hose.

Fill the bucket with water and add 1 oz. of dishwashing soap. Drench your sponge with the soapy water and scrub the blinds with the sponge. Make sure to turn the blinds over and scrub both sides.

Rinse the blinds with the garden hose and let them dry in the sun. Put the blinds back on the window once they are dry.
