There are, by my count, at least seven levels of fried chicken. The worst of them is good; the best, which I waited forty-four years to find, led to what can only be called an out-of-body experience. Let’s start at …
How to Roast Raw Pecans
Pecans taste good, and they are good for you. They contain healthy fats, protein and fiber. While it's fine to eat pecans raw, many people prefer the way pecans taste when they are roasted. You can roast pecans in the oven, in a pan on the stove top or in a microwave. Roasted pecans can be eaten as snacks or added to salads, soups or entrees. Try chopped, roasted pecans in unsweetened applesauce for a delicious and nutritious side dish. Add this to my Recipe Box.
