This is caused by a chlorine build-up that can be removed simply.       Secure the drain on a sink and fill it with cold water.

      Soak the suit in the water, until it is completely saturated.

      Rub a bar of mild soap over the wet fabric of the suit in the affected areas. Rub the fabric of the suit vigorously, to help the soap to penetrate the fabric completely.

      Rinse the suit well in cold water, until no bubbles remain.

      Lay the suit flat, and allow it to air dry.
