How to Transfer an Existing FedEx Account
FedEx is a worldwide logistics and package delivery company headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee. FedEx offers its customers the ability to establish an account, including pre- and post-paid accounts. In addition, many accounts offer special discounts based on the volume of business the individual or business does with FedEx. If you have an existing FedEx account and want to transfer the account to another business or individual, you should contact the FedEx customer service department.

Call FedEx customer service at (800) 463-3339. The person or business that wants to transfer the account needs to place the initial call to FedEx.

Tell the customer service representative that you want to transfer your FedEx account to another individual or business.

Transfer the current call or place a new call to FedEx customer service. The person you are transferring the account to will need to speak with the FedEx customer service representative.

Complete a new FedEx application. The person you are transferring the account to will have to complete a phone application with FedEx. Depending upon the type of account, FedEx may require a new credit application. If a credit application is required, the transfer is subject to credit approval.

Wait for approval of the account transfer. FedEx will notify both parties when the account transfer is approved or denied.
