How to Make 1.5 Ounce Candy Bar Wrappers

Make Candy Bar Wrappers with Microsoft Publisher

Open Microsoft Publisher. Click on "Blank Page Sizes." Scroll down and click on "Create Custom Page Size."

Name the new template and set the page sizes. Set the width to 5 inches and the length to 5.25 inches. Click "OK," then click "Create."

Decorate your label by setting a backround and adding text and pictures. To set the background color, click on "Format" in the toolbar, then click on "Background." Click on "Select More Colors." Choose the desired color. Design the label, using the font tool to select a typeface and size. To insert images, click "Insert," "Picture" and then "From File." Find the image you want. Double-click on the image. Once done, click on "Save." Name your file. Click "OK."

Print your candy bar wrapper by clicking on "File," then "Print."

Open Microsoft Word. Click on "Page Layout" in the toolbar, then click on "More Paper Sizes."

How to Wrap your Candy Bar

Use scissors to cut out the wrapper from the printed page. Place the wrapper, printed side down, on your work surface. Place the candy bar, face down, in the middle of the wrapper.

Fold the sides of the wrapper over the candy bar and press down lightly. If you are placing the wrapper on top of the original candy bar wrapper, you can glue the sides down.

Fold the bottom of the wrapper over the candy bar, pressing lightly. Fold the top of the wrapper over the candy bar and apply glue to hold it together.

Tips & Warnings
You can also use double-sided tape to hold your wrapper together by placing a piece of tape on the inside of the label and applying light pressure.
