How to Create Logos in MX Studio thumbnail
Use MX Studio to create your own logo.

MX Studio was a suite of graphics and flash applications offered by Macromedia. While these assets have since been sold to Adobe, and newer versions offered, many people still have the older version. There are still many tasks you can accomplish with MX Studio, such as creating logos. Most businesses and organizations want to have a good logo, and the Freehand drawing application that came as a part of MX Studio can produce professional results.

Instructions

    • 1

Brainstorm your ideas for your logo, drawing them out on paper. The logo needs to be clear and easy to understand. Most importantly, it should be memorable enough that people will instantly recognize it as yours. This creates brand recognition.

    • 2

Open Freehand. Go to the toolbar and choose the "Line" tool. Using your drawing as a reference, use the tool to draw the outer shape of the logo. As you add points, you can drag with the mouse to adjust the curve of the lines.

    • 3

Use the tool to draw the inner details of your logo. Then select the "Paintbucket" tool from the toolbar.

    • 4

Make the "fill color" one you want for a section of the logo and click to fill it. Repeat this to fill in the color for all of the sections of the logo. Save your work as a PNG. This will preserve the transparency so it can be placed against other documents.
