How to Make Pasta With an Electric Pasta Machine
Homemade pasta tastes different from the dried pasta you buy in stores. Many people consider it to be worlds apart from dried pasta. Making pasta at home, however, can be a messy task. The ingredients can be as simple as egg, water and flour. Most pasta recipes, however, called for specific semolina flour, and only the egg whites. A good pasta will have a superb consistency. Once your pasta dough is done, rolling it out in an electric pasta machine is simple. The machine may also come with a cutting option. Get your dough ready. You can make your own or buy pre-made pasta dough from a specialty grocery store.

Pinch enough pasta off so that it will fit into your pasta machine's hopper. Adjust the hopper to the size of pasta you want by turning the knob on the outside of the hopper.

Turn on the pasta machine. Feed the dough through the hopper with one hand and catch it on the other side with your other hand. You can push the dough through the pasta die with the plunger that comes with most machines.

Stack or hang the pasta and let it dry, or cook it right away. You can also freeze it to use later.

Tips & Warnings
Homemade pasta will cook faster than dried pasta that you buy in stores. Let your pasta dry for three hours before freezing it to avoid melding the strands together.
