How to Play Music Through a Sound Card
Your computer's sound card processes all the audio data from your computer's programs. The quality of the sound that comes through your computer's speakers relies in large part on your card's ability to reproduce audio. If you recently installed a flashy new sound card into your PC, you may be experiencing problems when you attempt to play music. You must have your current sound card set as the default sound card in your media-player program.
