Homemade Gold Jewelry Cleaning Solution
Gold is a soft, brilliant metal commonly used to make jewelry. Gold jewelry requires special care and cleaning to keep it shiny and bright. Things You'll Need
- 1 tsp. ammonia
- 1 tsp. dish detergent
- Bowl
- Spoon
- Soft bristled brush
- Soft cloths

Mix 1 tsp. of ammonia, 1 tsp. of dish detergent and 1 cup of warm water in a bowl with a spoon.

Place the gold jewelry into the cleaning solution, and allow it to soak for five minutes.

Brush the gold jewelry with a soft bristled brush, or wipe it with a soft cloth to remove any remaining dirt or residue.

Rinse the jewelry with cool water.
