If you are an adult who plans to volunteer, you can select from working as an art camp volunteer during the summer, helping in the membership department or becoming a docent. Children and teens who wish to volunteer are limited to helping with the summer art camp.

As a summer art camp volunteer, you would have the opportunity to either assist artists who work in the museum or work as a camp counselor, organizing programs for children who take part in the summer art camp. Individuals who volunteer in the membership department prepare mailings and membership packets as well as help out with clerical work and the occasional museum event. The museum asks that volunteers be available 10 to 15 hours a week. If this volunteer opportunity is the best fit for you, you need only submit a resume.
