How to Grind & Powder Goji Berries
The goji berry, a small, red fruit native to China and the Himalayas, contains a variety of minerals and high amounts of vitamins A and C. These berries have been eaten for many years, and are thought to give those who eat them an array of health benefits. Goji berries can be purchased in several forms, including juice or powder. You may also be able to buy whole Goji berries. If your berries are whole, but you want to grind and powder them for a recipe, this can be done with a food processor or coffee grinder. Remove the goji berries from packaging. You may want to rinse the berries in lukewarm water before grinding them. Some recipes call for the berries to be soaked in water for about one hour.

Pour the goji berries into your food processor or coffee grinder. Turn the grinder or processor on its lowest setting. If the berries do not begin to turn to powder, increase the speed.

Remove the berries when they are completely powdered. Use the powdered berries in a recipe, or blend them into a glass of water or juice.

Tips & Warnings
If you use a coffee grinder to powder the berries, clean it out thoroughly before adding the berries. If you do not clean it well, the berries may have the scent and taste of coffee.
