Remove the cover from the electrical port on your vehicle. On older vehicles, this is a cigarette lighter -- many cars just have a plastic cap over the port now.

Push the Samsung car phone charger completely into the open port. Make sure you push the charger down completely; otherwise, the device is not going to draw power from the vehicle.

Plug the cable running out of the Samsung car phone charger into the power port on the Cingular (AT&T) Samsung phone. Make sure to disconnect this when the car is powered off. It still draws electricity from the battery and may result in draining the battery on the vehicle.
