How to Make Halloween Ghost Costumes
Spook everybody in your neighborhood by dressing yourself or your child up as a ghost for Halloween. Ghosts are some of the most iconic Halloween images, along with witches, black cats and pumpkins. A simple ghost costume takes just a few minutes to put together, making it perfect as a last-minute costume.
Instructions

1
Drape the white sheet over the person who will be wearing the costume. Cut the sheet off at about ankle length so the wearer does not trip.
-
2
Draw an oval on the sheet along the outline of the wearer's face. Remove the sheet from the person and cut out the oval. Adjust the size of the oval opening as needed until the person's face fits comfortably in the hole.

3
Cut swatches of tulle, measuring about a foot wide and 2 to 3 ft. long.
-
4
Glue one of the short ends of each piece of tulle to the sheet with a hot glue gun. Orient them so the glued side will be at the top of the piece when the sheet is being worn. Glue the tulle pieces at different heights so they create a fuzzy outline to the ghost costume.
-
5
Paint the wearer's face white with Halloween face paint.
-
6
Put the costume on the wearer and trim off the ends of any pieces of tulle that drag on the ground.

Tips & Warnings
For a spookier effect, instead of cutting out the whole face of the ghost, just cut two large eye holes and use black face paint around the wearer's eyes to make the black eyes stand out against the white sheet.
