How to Transfer Video to a W810I Phone

The Sony Ericsson W810i is a quad-band Global Systems for Mobile Communications (GSM) cellular phone that is capable of storing and playing MP4-formatted video files. The phone is also compatible with the Memory Stick Pro Duo, and you can use a Memory Stick Pro Duo to transfer video files from your computer to your Sony Ericsson W810i.

Instructions

1. Convert the video file to the MP4 video format. The Sony W810i only supports playback of the MP4 video format. Several applications are available for Windows and Macs that can convert other types of video file into the MP4 video format.

2. Insert a Memory Stick Pro Duo into the card reader on your computer.

3. Click the Memory Stick PRO Duo drive to display the contents of the drive.

4. Drag the MP4 video file to the Memory Stick PRO Duo drive. The video file will automatically copy to the Memory Stick PRO DUO drive.

5. Remove the Memory Stick Duo slot cover on your Sony Ericsson W810i. The slot cover is located on the left side of the phone.

6. Insert the Memory Stick DUO Pro into the slot.

7. Select the "Memory Stick DUO Pro" from the "File Manager" on your phone. Select the video file you want to transfer.

8. Select the "More" option.

9. Select "Manage files," and then select "Copy." The video file will automatically transfer to your Sony Ericsson W810i.
