2. Travel with Laurie Gough through Fiji, among other places, in her book, "Kite Strings of the Southern Cross."
3. Find out why James A. Michener won the 1948 Pulitzer Prize for his epic, "Tales of the South Pacific."
4. Read Robert Louis Stevenson's wonderful collection of stories, "South Sea Tales."
5. Follow Harvard-educated anthropologist and psychologist Richard Katz as he discovers indigenous healing and spirituality in "The Straight Path of the Spirit: Ancestral Wisdom and Healing Traditions in Fiji."
6. Zoom in on the many diverse cultures of the Pacific in Ben R. Finney's "Voyage of Rediscovery: A Cultural Odyssey Through Polynesia."
7. Listen to David Fanshawe's fascinating collection of recordings from the Pacific, "Spirit of Polynesia."
8. Find religion listening to the incredible sounds of the Tahitian Choir in its collections, "Rapa Iti" and "Rapa Iti, Volume II."
9. Sway to the sounds of the ocean and Te Vaka's mellow, modern Polynesian rock on "Original Contemporary Pacific Music."
