Things You'll Need

  • 1 gallon water
  • 1/8 cup chlorine bleach
  • Measuring cup
  • 2-gallon bucket
  • Cold water

Instructions

      Fill a 2-gallon bucket with 1 gallon of water and add 1/8 cup of chlorine bleach. Gently stir the two liquids with your measuring cup to combine.

      Peel your rubber shower mat off the shower floor. Turn on the shower and rinse it off with a high pressure stream of cold water.

      Dunk your shower mat into the water and bleach mixture in the bucket. Let it sit for three or four hours. Rinse the shower mat again in a high pressure stream of cold water from the shower.
