Whether you're a veteran yourself or just want to support those who served in the military, shopping at veteran-owned businesses is a great way to do your part. Although it may not be obvious whether a business is owned by a veteran, it's easier than you think to find veteran-owned companies.

Visit the Center for Veterans Enterprise Web Portal of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Contact your local Chamber of Commerce. Chambers generally have listings of businesses owned by women, minorities, veterans and other demographics recognized by the U.S. Department of Labor.
